My PC is much slower than it used to be
If your PC is running slower than it used to then the cause will be a combination of the following factors:

• You are placing more demands on the PC and the memory can't cope
• Your Windows installation has become fragmented and needs to be wiped and reloaded
• Your hard disk drive is fragmented
• Your hard disk drive is full

If your Windows installation is reasonably 'tidy' and your disk drive ins't fragmented or full then you may be able to increase the performance of your PC simply by upgrading the memory.
